ATM = GTM + TBM

The maximum legal weight of your loaded caravan/trailer whilst hitched to your vehicle.
GTM = ATM - TBM -
The amount of weight being transferred by the caravan/trailer onto the vehicle’s tow ball.
Whilst all tow vehicles will specify this limit, not all caravan/trailer compliance plates have this limit listed. If your caravan/trailer compliance plate specifies this limit it must be complied with.
This is not the same at Tow Ball Mass at Tare. -
