  • Weighing your vehicle, trailer and caravan is important for several reasons. First and foremost, it helps ensure that you are not overloading your vehicle, which can cause safety problems, increased wear and tear, and reduced fuel efficiency. Overloading can also lead to penalties and fines, and in the event of an accident, an overloaded vehicle may result in your insurance being invalidated. Accurately weighing your vehicle and caravan allows you to distribute the load evenly and make necessary adjustments to ensure that your setup is safe and within legal weight limits. It is also important to weigh your vehicle and caravan regularly, as changes in weight distribution over time can affect the handling and stability of the setup.

  • We employ cutting-edge wireless weighing pads to accurately measure each wheel and axle of your vehicle and trailer. Our system can weigh up to 4 wheels simultaneously, with a maximum capacity of 8 tons, and can accommodate a wide range of vehicles including cars, 4WDs, commercial vehicles, caravans, camper trailers, mobile homes, vans, horse trailers, and boat trailers.

  • Following your appointment, we will send you a comprehensive report via email. The report will include the weights of each wheel and axle (GAW), as well as the Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM), Braked Towing Capacity (BTC), Gross Trailer Mass (GTM), Tow Ball Mass (TBM), Aggregate Trailer Mass (ATM), and Gross Combination Mass (GCM). We will compare these weights to the manufacturer's specifications and ensure that you are within the established limits.

  • Here at OVERLOADED we operate one of the most advanced wireless vehicle, trailer and caravan weighing systems on the market. Our scales are provided and serviced by a reputable Australian NATA (National Association Testing Authorities) accredited company. Our weigh pads and tow ball scale are accurate to the nearest 1kg and are calibrate at a minimum every 12 months (calibration certificates can be viewed upon request).

  • As a mobile service, we can weigh your vehicle at any location within our service areas. There MUST be a flat, even surface made of concrete or asphalt, with room for both the vehicle and vehicle in tow. If your home is not suitable, we will work with you to identify an appropriate alternate location prior to your appointment.

  • The driver must be present and able to drive onto the weighing pads and perform the unhitching and hitching of the caravan themselves.

  • To ensure the most accurate evaluation of your setup, it's important to bring your vehicle and trailer/caravan to your appointment fully loaded, as if you were about to embark on a trip. This includes, but is not limited to, a full tank of fuel, full water tank, full gas bottles, generator, recreational equipment, bedding, groceries, refrigerator, tools, chairs, clothing etc. Having your setup loaded in this manner will aid in assessing the distribution of your load and allow us to assist you in make adjustments if necessary to stay within manufacturer's weight limits and ensure balance.

  • We accept all major credit cards, Apple pay, Google pay, Samsung pay, PayId, Direct credit (Osko) Payments or cash on the day of the appointment.
